Scheduling a session is a simple matter of contacting me with the date (or roundabout) that you are interested in booking. You can contact me in three different ways:
- Directly emailing me at imaginationphotog@yahoo.com
- Through the "Book a Session" page of the website.
- Private Message on the Imagination Photography Facebook page at www.facebook.com/ImaginationPhotog
- Or by calling 256-659-4062
Through the Website - You can easily message me through my website by visiting the "Book a Session" menu on the navigation bar, as shown here:
You'll be taken to a page featuring a contact form to fill out, as shown here:
This form asks for basic information such as your name, phone, email, and a brief message. As with direct email, just let me know what type of session you need and when you are interested in booking. I will get back with you as soon as I can.
Private Facebook message - To contact me via Facebook, you must log in to your Facebook account and go to the Imagination Photography business page (not my personal page). You'll see a Message icon on the upper right just underneath the cover photo, as shown here:
In your message, let me know the type of session you need and the date(s) you're interested in and I will get back with you as soon as possible.
By Phone - The internet isn't the only way to get in touch with me. You can give me an old fashion phone call at 256-659-4062 Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sometimes I am at a shoot and unable to answer, but please leave a message letting me know when you are interested in booking and I will call you back as soon as I can. This number is a land line, so it cannot receive text messages.
I am available for sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons during the week, as well as Saturday mornings and afternoons on the weekends. I am not available on Sundays. My schedule tends to book up about a month ahead, so it is best to schedule your session 8 to 4 weeks before your desired date. If you are interested in a Saturday, particularly during Spring and Fall, those dates book up even sooner (sometimes 2-3 months in advance). You can keep an eye on available dates by checking out the calendar on the website.
Because I am an outdoor, natural light photographer, I try to schedule sessions during the best lighting times. For the absolute BEST light, it is best to do the session in late afternoon (around 3 or 4 p.m. in the Fall and Winter, and 5 or 6 p.m. during Spring and Summer). I also morning sessions on Saturdays. For these the best light is around 9 or 10 a.m.
Once we have confirmed your date, I will send you a Pre-Session Guide. This new digital booklet details everything you need to know before your session, including pricing, ordering information, and location information. If you book your session via phone, please let me know your email address (if you have one), so that I can send you the guide.
Thanks for reading our first Frequently Asked Answers post! If you found this helpful (or if you didn't), please let me know! I LOVE to hear your feedback. It's the only way I can become better at what I do. If you have any questions you'd like to see answered in a future post, please let me know! See ya soon!
